Parchment & Pawprint Brings Fresh-Baked Dog Treats to Oswego Christmas Walk
Oswego, IL — September 22, 2025 — Parchment & Pawprint, the Oswego-based family-run micro-bakery known for its small-batch dog treats and big-hearted mission, will be a vendor at the 2025 Oswego Christmas Walk on Friday, December 5, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. in downtown Oswego.
Run with and for their son, Zachary, who has Down syndrome, the bakery was born from a desire to turn his passion for cooking—nurtured through Oswego East High School’s culinary and restaurant management program—into meaningful work. Together, the family handcrafts wholesome dog treats using real ingredients like roasted sweet potatoes, local honey, and gluten-free flours, shaped with custom 3D-printed cutters.

"The Christmas Walk is a wonderful celebration of community," says co-founder Christine Pietrowiak. “We're thrilled to share our treats and our story with neighbors who’ve supported Zach every step of the way and with neighbors meeting Parchment & Pawprint for the first time.”
At the booth, visitors can meet Zach, discover festive flavors, and pick up a Limited Edition Holiday Celebration Box — beautifully packaged, gift-ready assortments of their best-selling cookies in festive shapes made just for the season.
The Oswego Christmas Walk features holiday lights, music, food vendors, and activities for the whole family. For event details, visit the Village of Oswego website.
